Every substantive correction is recorded here, with the date and what changed.
Why this page exists
This site tells readers to check dates and versions before trusting technical instructions. A site giving that advice cannot quietly amend its own mistakes.
A visible correction costs a little credibility once. An invisible one costs all of it when found.
What counts as a correction
Logged here: a factual error, a misdescribed standard or PEP, a tool behaviour described inaccurately, our own experience misremembered, or a recommendation reversed.
Not logged: typographical fixes, clarified wording that does not change meaning, and tooling claims that were accurate at their stated check date.
The distinction that matters here
Python tooling moves quarterly. An article accurate in August and superseded in February is not an error — it is dated material, which is why every technical page carries the versions it was checked against.

Superseded tooling claims
Where a tool changes behaviour, a PEP is accepted or withdrawn, or a recommendation stops being current, the update is added to every article referencing it, with the same prominence as the original.
This matters most for anything about packaging, where the settled and unsettled parts shift and old advice circulates for years.
Our own history
The conference material is memory, and memory is fallible.
If you were involved in PyMunich or PyCon.DE 2016 and something here is wrong — a date, a number, a decision described inaccurately — please say so. It will be corrected and logged, and it matters more than the technical corrections because nobody else can check it.
Reporting one
Say what is wrong and why. Corrections are the most useful message this site receives.
The log
No corrections have been logged yet. This site is new, and an empty log means only that — not that no errors exist. When one is found it will appear here with the date it was published, the date it was corrected, and what was wrong.
